He went on to follow four top contenders in the $10 million international competition to build cars that achieve 100 MPGe. In November 2013, Jason's Book, Ingenious was published. It tells the story of the EVX Team, Edison2, Illuminati Motor Works, and Aptera. It is, as the title says, "A True Story of Invention, Automotive Daring, and the Race to Revive America."
