Sports Cars and Food. Nothing Better.
The EVX Team’s beautiful Factory Five 818 logged an astonishing 110 MPG at Watkins Glen in last year’s Green Grand Prix. It was a wonderful experience for the 18 team members who made the trip to upstate New York for the race.
We won’t make it to the Green Grand Prix this year, but we’re going to two other super events where our students will be showing off their work.
110 MPG at the Green Grand Prix
My Experience at the Green Grand Prix was amazing. Seeing our car on the race track at Watkins Glen made me even prouder to be part of the EVX team.
Getting Ready for 2015
This school year we will be taking the Factory Five 818 car to a wind tunnel outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to a car show located in downtown Philadelphia and to the Grand Prix located in the Watkins Glen, NY. As you can see, we have a very busy year.
Meeting President Obama
On June 17, 2014 EVX team members and teachers traveled to Washington, DC for the first ever White House Maker Faire. We had so much fun. The trip was amazing! We took the Factory Five 818 car that we built at school this year. It is an alternative fuel car that gets almost 100 miles per gallon. Our car was parked on the lawn of the White House right outside the Oval Office.
